Description: Our trip begins at the Sugarlands Visitor’s Center where you will meet your Naturalist guide from A Walk in the Woods. Take a guided tour up the Mountain, including several beautiful photographic opportunities of the sea of mountains, a stop to see the Rockefeller Memorial at Newfound Gap (the TN/NC boarder), plus hear stories of the natural and human history of the Park. After photos of the sea of mountains, we’ll stretch our legs on a short walk on the famous AT! Or do a short easy history tour where you soak your feet in a clear mountain stream…you may even get to taste a wild mountain treat.
