Description: Travel a segment of one of the most famous trails in the world to one of the Park’s most unique geological formations, Anakeesta ridge. Walk between the trees, through a thick forest of ancient, scented spruce and fir, past incredible vistas. During your tour, visit an Appalachian Trail shelter and climb up to a hidden, high mountain meadow that gives the viewer a 360 degree view of the sea of mountains that make up the Park. In addition, on this guided hike, you will learn about this Boreal forest and the unique plants and animals that call it home.
