Description: Although your guided hike begins in the busy Clingman’s Dome Parking lot, we’ll leave the crowds behind as we walk through the Southernmost extent of a forest found 1,000 miles north of Tennessee. On a clear day you will marvel at the sea of mountains, beautiful Flame Azaleas in the summertime, and an artist’s palette of colors in the fall, while enjoying a pleasant respite on a beautiful Appalachian bald. Certainly, this hike will become a new favorite! This tour is offered April through mid November weather permitting.
